  • FALL CRAFT WEEKEND 2018 NOVEMBER 10TH AND 11TH Princeton Theological Seminary Princeton N.J.REGISTRATION OPENS Sunday, September 30 at 9:00am (ET)NOTE: The schedule and faculty bios have been updated since the previous email. Please download the updated documents. Weekend Overview: (You can sign up for Saturday-only or the full weekend) Saturday Enjoy an editor/agent/art director panel, followed by an afternoon of workshops with published author/illustrators to help you further your skills in the world of children's books. (Critiques will be scheduled throughout the day for those signed up for the full weekend.) Optional dinner with faculty. Sunday (note: You can sign up for the writer or illustrator portion of the weekend, not both.)  Breakfast and lunch with the faculty, art and portfolio display and opening editor/agent/art director panel. Writers: will meet with editors and agents in first page sessions, and round tables. Note: If you sign up for the writers' weekend, be prepared to choose your one-on-one faculty member, first page session, and round table while registering. Illustrators: will meet with art director and illustrator mentor for a group critique on a pre-assigned illustration Intensive project. They will also meet for a portfolio review round table. Illustrator Mentor, Leeza Hernandez is also offering a bonus option, described in the Illustrator Round Table link below and in registration. Prices Saturday only ($60 SCBWI / $120 non-SCBWI) Writers' or Illustrators' Weekend ($295 SCBWI / $395 non-SCBWI) Saturday dinner with faculty ($60 SCBWI / $120 non-SCBWI) Critique or portfolio review with a published author or illustrator ($50 SCBWI / $100 non-SCBWI) Portfolio review with art director ($90 SCBWI / $180 non-SCBWI) Lodging You will be able to book a room on the Seminary Campus at Erdman Hall (limited rooms available) or stay at a hotel in the area.
