Our stellar line up of industry professionals includes:The Most Common Editorial Notes I Give Faculty: Liz Kossnar, Senior Editor at Little, Brown Books for Young Readers October 9th, 2022, 2 pm-4pm
Liz Kossnar is a Senior Editor at Little, Brown Books for Young Readers and reads for picture book, middle grade, YA, and graphic novels, fiction and non-fiction--so pretty much the full range. But what piques Liz’s interest is a level of wit, subversion, and unexpected learning. For novels, she connects best with those that have a strong footing in the contemporary space even if set in a fantastical or futuristic world. Overall, she’s excited by books that are commercial and hold some universal Truth. Liz is not a fan of sentimentality, animal stories, or romance.
