Every November, thousands of children’s book writers pledge to write a novel during National Novel Writing Month – NaNoWriMo. Spend an afternoon with published author and proven NaNo veteran Charlotte Bennardo at this free workshop and learn the tips, tricks, and techniques to maximize your November writing experience!
Charlotte Bennardo knows the secrets and strategies to conquer NaNoWriMo, and she has the published work to prove it. The NaNo structure is a great way to succeed at writing that middle grade or young adult novel you’ve been rolling around in your mind–so come join NaNo champion Charlotte Bennardo at this free event sponsored by the New Jersey Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.
Charlotte’s bio: Until Hollywood calls, Charlotte lives in New Jersey with her family, two needy cats, and sometimes a deranged squirrel. The Evolution Revolution trilogy: Simple Machines, Simple Plans, and Simple Lessons are her first solo novels. She is the co-author of Blonde Ops, and the Sirenz series: Sirenz and Sirenz Back in Fashion, and contributed to two anthologies, Beware the Little White Rabbit and Scare Me to Sleep. She’s written for magazines and newspapers and has given presentations and workshops at NJ SCBWI conferences, schools, libraries, and other venues. Currently, she’s working on sci-fi, historical, fantasy, and time travel novels for middle grade, young and new adult readers.
